eBay Ensure’s Users Give To Charity!

The Red Hot Chilli Peppers are just one of the bands playing at this years Live Earth concerts, so have you brought your tickets? Maybe you brought them online from eBay? If you did then you will be aware that eBay was donating 20% of the price paid for the tickets to charity.

What I’m so happy about, is the fact that eBay is making sure those who have already bought their tickets, and are now selling them on, also give 20% to charity. They want to ensure that any eBay users re-selling tickets online give some of their profits to good causes through their charity fundraising programme.

At least these people are not getting away with completely profiting on re-selling tickets without giving recognition to charities. Many are unhappy with eBayers making money from such social issues, but at least eBay has made a step to combat this.
