Just Good News

Who says no news is good news?!

Just Blind Puzzling?!

Ok, so you think you are good at puzzles? Well I bet you will suffer defeat to this young lad who has cracked the famously tricky Rubik’s Cube Puzzle BLINDFOLDED…yes blindfolded…pause for dramatic effect and possible applause.

The teenage Joey Gouly mastered the multi-coloured cube in two minutes and 27 seconds, setting a new British record. The fast-fingered Yorkshire born 17-year-old said he found it so easy to finish the cube with his eyes open, he decided to set himself a new challenge.

Joey received his first Rubik’s Cube when he was just 16, and says his daily practice sessions mean that without a blindfold he can crack it in just 15 seconds! I think he would give Will Smith a run for his money in ‘The Pursuit Of Happyness.’ Absolute legend.

Triumph Over Disability

Now that video may have amazed you but this is a sport, which many who have lost, their legs take up. I found it breathtaking and I wanted to share a story with you, which shows sheer strength. Stephani Victor lost her legs when a car while standing on a sidewalk in Los Angeles hit her. One can imagine the damage this would do to someone’s confidence and state of life.

However, Stephani is simply an inspiration, this young lady has defied the odds through learning to walk again, and has even become a world-class mono-skier. In 2006 she won an Olympic Gold Medal for her skiing. This is breath taking, what a real star!

Indiana Jones Or Martin Strel?

Hats off to this man who braved the crocodiles and battled piranhas to be the first man to swim across the whole length of the Amazon River!

Regardless of the crocs and piranhas, this Slovenian had to battle against sheer exhaustion, as this is the largest river in the world. This shows some real commitment and bravery.

Have you done anything amazing lately? Or do you have a view, or congratulations to give this man. It is not the first river Mr Strel has swum; he has also swum the Mississippi, Danube and Yangtze. I for one think this is an incredible achievement, and something, which makes life more challenging.

Elizabeth Hurleys wedding party!

Mr and Mrs Nayar
Elizabeth Hurley has found true love after marrying businessman Arun Nayar in the cosy Cotswold’s. They had a private ceremony in a castle on Friday, away from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. This is something, which many celebrities are opting for as they rarely receive privacy from the pressing paparazzi! However, do celebrities make their own beds, and therefore ask for this lifestyle?

Despite wanting such a low-key event, they celebrated in style in the Cotswold’s with famous guests, including Kate Moss and Sir Elton John. Does this sound like a contradiction? Wanting to distract media attention, and yet inviting the media’s main targets? Or should they be free to invite who they want?

The Locals have given them their vote by displaying good luck signs in their shops, wishing Liz the best of luck. There are rumors that Elizabeth is flying with new hubby Arun to India for a second celebration. These celebrities certainly know how to party; if this has intrigued you then do share your views on current star wedding celebrations.
